God Judges Judah
Lesson Focus: For hundreds of years, God warned Judah and called them to repentance through his prophets. But they refused to turn from evil, so God used Babylon to destroy Judah. The Babylonians killed most of the people of Judah, destroyed the temple of God, and took survivors to Babylon as captives.
Key Passages: 2 Chronicles 36:11-14, 36:17-20, Jeremiah 38:6-13, 39:11-12
Students will be able to:
- Explain how God judged Judah's sin.
- Describe how the Babylonians treated the Israelites.
